Tomorrow is Bubble Gum Day! $1 gets your student two pieces of gum. If you send extra money to buy gum for another student, please label the additional amount as a donation to the Bubble Gum Fund.
We will hold a walkthrough intruder drill on Tuesday, September 29. Teachers will explain the procedures to students and walk them through what to do. No alarm will be set off.

Grand Star Elementary Fun Run Fundraiser
Our school is excited to host a Fun Run fundraiser! This event gives students the opportunity to raise money by collecting pledges or donations from family and friends. Instead of selling items, students will participate in a fun, active run during the school day.
On the day of the event, students will run, walk, or even dance laps while enjoying music and encouragement from friends and teachers. The focus is on having fun, participation, effort, and school spirit—not competition.
Funds raised will go toward exciting additions for our school, including 3D printers for student learning, more field trip opportunities, and decorative window coverings to brighten and enhance our spaces.

Grand Star is gearing up for our Timberwolf Fun Run! This fundraiser helps support exciting opportunities for our students, including classroom resources, field trips, and school improvements.
Hi, Grand Star Families, it’s Book Fair time! We’ll be open on Monday, April 13 and close on Friday, April 17. Great news! At the Spring Book Fair, every Grand Star kid will first be able to buy a book worth up to $10 + tax (this will be paid for by our Fall Scholastic profits).

If you’ve ever worried about sending money to school with your child, you can sign up for eWallet from March 23 - April 17. Any money not spent at the fair will stay with your child for future fairs or can be used for Scholastic Book Club purchases during the year. If you’ve used eWallet in the past and are wondering if you still have a balance, you should receive an email from Scholastic before the fair which will tell you how to transfer any balance to the new fair. No more bags of coins!
