Grand Star Elementry students raised over $1,200 to donate to Relay for Life. Today we celebrated with our 6-hour relay and ended with an assembly and an all-school walk. Thank you for your support!
Grand Star will be doing a 6-hour school-wide relay on Monday, May 1st. Parents and students are welcome to start our relay at the Trailridge Track from 7:45-8:15 am. Students must have a parent in order to walk and have eaten breakfast before they come. All students will have an opportunity to walk throughout the day. Thank you for supporting our School Relay for Life!

It is our last day for the Relay for Life collection. Bring $1 and wear a hat 🧢 The teacher with the highest total in each grade gets a pie in the face!

Tomorrow the Grand Star staff will be recognizing World Down Syndrome Day. Please wear crazy socks or blue and yellow to help spread awareness. In case you were curious...The date for WDSD is the 21st day of the 3rd month. It was selected to signify the uniqueness of the triplication (trisomy) of the 21st chromosome which causes Down syndrome.
