Students from multiple districts gathered at Gardner Edgerton High School for a lively Hawaiian luau-themed dance designed for the special population, bringing together fun, friendship, and community.
Students from area schools joined in the fun, including West Franklin USD 287, USD 230, USD 464, and Tonganoxie-Basehor, along with our very own USD 231’s TOPS program. Throughout the event, attendees enjoyed music and dancing as well as a variety of activities, including games, snacks, face painting, and a popular photo booth.
This annual event is hosted through a partnership between Gardner Edgerton High School’s Interact Club and Cheer Team. Student volunteers played a key role in organizing and running the event, helping create a welcoming and energetic atmosphere for all who attended.
The dance continues to be a highlight of the year, giving students an opportunity to connect, have fun, and build lasting memories.
